How is Profitdrive different from our accounting system?
- An accounting system records what has already happened. Profitdrive projects what is about to happen. It reads live pipeline, project plans, and people costs to show where profit is heading over the coming months, rather than reporting the position at the end of a period that has already closed.
Does Profitdrive replace our accounting or ERP system?
- No. Profitdrive sits alongside the systems of record. It draws on the same underlying facts, the deals, project assumptions, and people costs, to produce a forward profit view, without replacing the ledger, payroll, or billing systems the firm already runs.
What data does Profitdrive run on?
- Profitdrive runs on real operating data. It reads the deal model for each opportunity, the project plan for each engagement, named people and their costs, and the resulting firm profit and loss. Because every figure traces back to one source, the pipeline, delivery, and finance views agree without a spreadsheet bridge.
How is Profitdrive priced?
- Profitdrive is priced by seat, matched to what each person does. A Leadership seat has full commercial and financial decision access. A Manager seat serves the people who run projects, resourcing, and capacity without full firm financial control. A Team Member seat covers time, leave, and a personal dashboard for delivery staff. Cost tracks the people who make decisions rather than the size of the delivery team, and specific figures are set in the access conversation.
Is our people and cost data secure?
- Yes. People cost is treated as a secure area. Individual rates and person records are visible only to those who need them, on a permissioned basis, while the aggregate profit view remains available to leadership. Every profit figure stays traceable to its source without exposing underlying pay.
How do we get access to Profitdrive?
- Access is currently by request through the Profitdrive site. After a firm requests access, onboarding follows, and the forward profit view builds from the firm's own pipeline, project, and people data.
